SciFi and Fantasy Art When It Rains, It Pours by Jenna ´Kaikisuka´ Linn Barton

Poor guy. Caught in the rain with a tragically melancholy look on his face. This was the first colored-line picture I did that had a background and an ambience. All of the previous pics just had plain white to stand against, which was appropriate, considering they were just experiments (and when I try to put my experiments into settings… small explosions happen). However, I decided that I knew what I was doing, and so I planned a background for this one. Hah! Okay, I don’t even need to mention that I DIDN’T know what I was doing, we all know that. And yet, somehow, this picture turned out all right. Granted, it could have been drippier and the rain could have been MUCH improved, but I’ll leave it be for now. The entire pic took about an hour from initial concept to finishing, so at least it wasn’t a time-guzzler. *snort* Dang, he looks pitiful. Someone get the kid an umbrella so he’ll stop shivering and making a scene…ugh…
