Author’s note: ello! Meet Elwen! : D my little rude and disrespectful elf! ^_^. She is my favorite rp character! And I finally decided to put her in a story!

Elwen glanched up, surprised when she heard the shut of a door, she sighed in displasure when she saw that more had come to sleep at the inn. So far Elwen was the only one that was staying at the inn, and she had been enjoying that fact. She stuided the people closly, there were two of them, one, the male was dressed in the attire of a gypasy, the other was a younger girl was dressed in more ragged clothes, the clothes of a lower rank that did not deserve new clothes often. Elwen stood up when the gypay sat near her and walked off, she quitely slipped into her room and laid down gazing at the sky outside. She sighed, it had been an idotic idea for her to stay in an inn! But it had been just her luck to be in one that gypsies came to! Gypasy liked conversation..talking, sharing stories and songs, no doubt they would come asking her to join them. She sniffed, that was her last idea of fun! Her first inclination was to tell them no, but then she realized they would be very persistint, might it be easier to humor them and listen to their stories and songs? No, she quickly decided, not if it meant having to share with them. How she hated people! A knock came on her door, and scrowling, thinking it to be the gypsies, she openend the door “what?” she snapped. The inn boy stood there, looking at her scared. He held up her meal “jjjuust ddeliving ttthis mmmamdam.”

She glared at him and snatched the food away “baka.” She muttered glaring at him “goodness, always stuttering! Learn to speak right!” she said. He looked at her with a trembling lip, but she just merely laughed at him, and slammed her door shut. Sitting down at the small table she glanched down at the food, it looked good, she had not been hungry before it arrived, but its smell made her eager to eat. She had barely lifted a fork to her mouth, when another knock came, an angry look crossed her face, and she stalked over to the door throwing it open

“ttthe ggypsies tthey want yyyou toooo come ddown and jjoin ttthem..ttthey wwwant to heeear sooomme new ststtories..pplease ddont yell at mmee.”

“ppplease ddont yell at mmmee” Elwen immataited “tell them im not interested!”

the boy nodded, and quickly ran away, fearful of her. She wondered why she had not been kicked out yet, from treating the boy so disrespectful, but then realized he was probley to fearful to say anything, she laughed and sat down to her meal. After finishing, she blew out the lamps and laid down, hoping to avoid any more disruptions.

Elwen woke to a tapping on the door, she sat up, annoyed. Glanching outside she realized it was late, and frowned, wondering who was disrupting her. She shook her head angry, gussing it was a gypsie, lighting the lamps then opening the door she came across the girl. About to yell at her the gypasy jumped into her room, pulling Elwen with her, she put a finger up to her lips, her eyes looked scared and she she blew out the lamps. Elwen, curious dispite herself, did nothing, wanting to see what she was going to do,

       “I need your help.”

Elwen sighed annoyed “goodbye!” she said faking a cheerful tone

The girl looked upset “no, please I need your help! Im Seriam’s servant, he is the older gypsy, and I want away from him! Please, can you help me escape? This is one of my only chances, soon we will join the band of gypsies again, and I will have no chance then!

       “No, goodbye.” Elwen repeated.

       “Please!” she said in panic

Elwen glared at her “I said no, now beat it, before I tell Seriam you are here.”

The girl’s lip trembled “no! you can not do that! Please no! he will give me a horrible beating!” she said a fearful tear slipping out.

       Elwen frowned “beating?”

She nodded “yes, he always beats me.” She stiffened “the gypsies, they don’t treat me right..they beat me, starve me,..play with me.” She said, pulling a long sleave up, bruises could be seen.

Elwen’s eyes flared up, as cruel as she tended to be, she did not approve of such treatment to a girl.  “fine.” She said relucntly.

The girl smiled and lept up and hugged Elwen “thank you!” she said

Elwen pushed her away hard, she looked at her angrerliy :”but! The conditions are, that you do not talk with me unless absoultly neccecery! No stories, no uselsess conversations! Nothing! I do not like talking with people!”

The girl nodded “all right. my name is Mia by the way, what is your name?”

       “Elwen.”

“Elwen? That is a elven name! Are you an elf?”

Elwen smirked “very good! I see someone is talented at noticing things!” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm  “well I suppose we should leave now, and get far  away before he realizes you are gone!”

The girl nodded “yes we should leave now, but we have a few days, he left me in the care of the inn keeper, he some business to attend to, and did not want me slowing him down, and will be gone for a few days.”

“fine.” Elwen said “are you ready?”

       “yes.”

“let us leave then.” Elwen said, she strapped her sword around her waist, placed the daggers in their small sheaths, then picked up her odd staff. Mia eyed it, barely able to see it, but some moonlight was shinning on it. It was odd, a tall staff, with sharp curved blades coming out of it. A small pole came out of that, leading with two more blades, in between them was a small ball upon another small pole. She wondered what the ball was for as she followed Elwen out and they strolled into  the night.

The storyline is good, but it seems a bit stiff. BTW, do you have a spellchecker on your computer? You might want to run the story through it.
