Tag As FavoriteComment		Not really sure what she is. I just kind of made up this idea of a half bird half person one day. No, she's not a harpy because, as you can see, she has arms and she's not evil or viscious. The human part is modelled off a picture of my friend, Elizabeth. I don't like the way her left hand turned out. Thinking about it, the reason it's not as good is probably because it wasn't in the picture I used for reference.

Amazing amount of detail in this one. But no face?

:-) Kiran Spees replies: "Yes, no face. This was drawn at a time when I had zero confidence in my face drawing abilities in any form other than portrait. I still don't have that much confidence, actually. I drew her without a face and then didn't want to ruin it by putting one in."

Beautiful!! The details in the wings! Awesome. You are very good with body proportions. I know what you mean about the face, I have the same problem with hands. I tend to "forget" them in some drawings and just pretend that they don't exist.lol Maybe one day you'll get back to it, who knows!2

I love it but no offense, its bottom half looks like a chicken. I think it's beautiful though.
