this is a character from a story that a friend of mine is working on with me. she's been rejected before, so i'd just like to assure the mods that this character's life goes on in another world, where she has to learn magic in order to fight an evil sorcerer. i'll add some other pictures when they're finished, of her doing save-the-world type things, but i wanted to make a more traditional portrait type drawing, just so i could get down what she looked like. :-) i like portraits.

the dress is cool. I had problems with mods too the first time I try to upload my drawings but I understood that it was just because I chose in the wrong way the Main Category. probably you made my same error. just wondering...

I LOVE the dress. This is beautiful! I hate how stuff like this could get rejected, just because it doesn't have a clear fantasy appearence. meh.. i think historical stuff like this should be allowed.

:-) J. lawrence replies: "i agree... of course i do since it's my piccie. but i think that at this point in time, historical looking pictures ARE fantasy, since we don't live then... we live now. i hope that made sense."

I like portraits, too. <3 *draws way too many of them in comparison to other things*

Her dress is gorgeous. It really is. xD If I ever manage to learn how to sew properly, I'm going to sew things like that (I mean, what's the point of sewing the kind of stuff you can already buy in stores, anyway?). Her face, as well as some other areas, needs a little more shading, however. As it is now it looks a little bit flat. ^^; I'm a bit picky like that, forgive me.

Also, to match with her gorgeous dress, I suppose, she's very beautiful. ^^ Really nice portrait!

:-) J. lawrence replies: "yeah it's flat. i might get around to fixing her someday, so thatnks for the comment. and thanks again, for liking her. 2"

Love the dress and how you’ve colored it.
