Tag As FavoriteComment		This is Alanna and her cat Faithful from the book series by Tamora Pierce. Alanna had to dress as a guy in order to train to become a knight. She was later reveiled but still kept her knight title. Faithful was given to her by the Great Goddess. He can talk to her. I wanted to try a different coloring style then i usually do. I used a lot of softer colors and opticity in order to create the soft feel. I think it came out very good! I really love it! Except the background... but i couldnt put anything together that looked good with her... so i left it blank... if you have any ideas, please tell me! I would love to see this with a good background. hand drawn and colored in photoshop 6

Alann's armour is gold and her shield has a rearing lioness out line on it. Other than that, good pic.

Good picture heres some stuff i think

pros: Hair, position, faithful

cons: Armor (gold and amethyst) sheild (its a little small plu s it n.E.E.D.S the lioness rampant on it) hair length (should be a little shorter)

Faithful wasn't given to her by the Great Goddess He came to her. The Great Goddess gave him the power of speech. But other than that it's an amazing picture.

Ashley, ur WRONG. Faithful was NOT given the power of speech by the Great Mother Goddes, he IS a God. he is a star constellation by the Godesses feet(called The Cat), which will dissapear for decades at a time. he is the one who helps create heroes like alanna, and a certain ancestress of Georges. I hope that this will clear up any doubts. Anyway, I love ur pic, though it is not strictly correct. Happy new year!
