Math classes create the strangest things.... She doesn't have much of a story. I suppose she's fairly self explanitory. However, whether you see her become the deamon, falling from grace, or becoming the Angel, returning to the light, is entirely up to you. Or, mayhaps She's simply stuck as both... All I have to definately say is that a creature her size would need big wings to carry her mass, would she not? (Does a question count as being something definately said?)

Wow this picture's beautiful, the figure is great and unusual and your proportions are perfect. How can you enjoy drawing wings? They slowly eat away at my soul....mind you I guess its my fault for thinking it would be cool to start a manga about angels, ironically called Feathers (stupid, stupid me.) Anyway the subtle detail in your work is very perdy, I love how you've shown very slight detail in the hair but not too much to make it look crowded. I think I've ranted on long enough so I'll take my leave now...bubye!

I love a picture like this one that is open to the interpretation of the individual viewer. It's intriguing and beautifully designed. That wing is exquisite, and I like the fact that you made it large enough to be aerodynamically correct. Kudos to you for a thought-provoking picture. 2

I love the pose, it feels static yet moving, if that makes any sense.
I don't think this kind of theme can be over used, I'd rather call it a classic. 12 Also I'm a sucker for big beautiful wings, and this is definitely one!

I think the picture would be even better if she had something to stand on. Though it works without it.
Wonderful picture!

The proportions here are fairly good, and the reduced palette adds to a sureal sense of drama. However, I feel this image would look a lot better with some of those extraneous smudges about the figure removed/cleaned up. It looks rather messy in some places. While the wings look great from a distance, they are also fairly smudged in parts and this just loses the detail. Also, I notice that the background is a little patchy - with sharp bits, and then random, smudgey bits that distort the focus of the image.

This image could be rather beautiful, in my view, with just a bit more attention to detail - maybe some shading on the angelic part of her body, and a little motion to her hair. Presently her hair has body, but little texture, because it is just a block colour.

I hope that was helpful 2

Hey 2 great gallery! this is my favourite piece, i think the contrast between the wing and the smoother coloured body works really well! great job on the wing they can be so tough to do! xx

Cool concept, I love the blending of the two extremes (heaven & hell) in one figure. Nicely done.

I love how the wing absolutely dominates the composition. You've put some beautiful details into the feathering and it really catches the eye.

The pose shows a lot of expression in the way the demon side is so 'grounded' and appears to be anchoring the angelic side. Very intriguing pic!

:-) K. ´Karahatay´ Fink replies: "I don't know that I've ever really thought of it as the demonic part anchoring her down, holding her back. But I really like that idea. 2 Thanks for all your great comments!"

I think that this picture, even if it is not meant to, shows the struggle that most people go through on a daily basis in their lives. The find that they are stretching for heaven but are grounded by their hellish attributes.

I think it is amazingly done. The wings were the main thing that made me come to this picture, they look exquisite. However I feel that the same attention to the detail was not carried through in her hair and her angelic body.

I love the way her demonic half is gripping to the ground though, it really completes the picture.

:-) K. ´Karahatay´ Fink replies: "I've been considering revamping this pic for some time. It wasn't until recently when I got a new, brighter monitor that I realized how litte detail shows up in her body. I agree with you about the lack of detail. I really enjoyed doing the wings. i've learned, though, that they're REALLY hard to colour. 2Thanks for the comment!"

Hi! Good and nice drawing =) I have uploaded some new stuff, do you want to take a look?

:-) K. ´Karahatay´ Fink replies: "Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you... I'd be happy to go look at them, but which ones are the new ones? "
