"Alien Mermaid" by Karen-Birgitte "Ellemerr" Borud


	I’ve made another mermaid – this time front view! proud She was meant to be for my sister, whom has coloured many of my paintings lately, she was also training for my inking. I couldn’t resist colouring her myself, and here she is. She reminds me a little of my own aliens, long headed and empty eyes. Would explain the red sea too…

Karen-Birgitte "Ellemerr" Borud replies: "Thanks a lot! The pattern on the tail is actually one of those funny mistakes one makes every now and then... You see, I'd done the whole background crossing over the mermaid to be sure I got them right, and then I forgot to erase one of the lines when I inked it... So then I had to think of something to mask that one wrong line. Woila; Striped tail. ^^"
