San and Ashitaka from 'Princess Mononoke'. Ashitaka is giving a flower to San (in case it's not obvious enough).

You know I'm not crazy about that movie (it's just not the way of the Demon to be happy crazy)I'm very much pleased with the movie but I don't need a bunch of exclamation points to show it. Anyway I'm a fellow Demon of Mononoke's, and I think humans are sick creatures.(no war at steak please)You know I'm from the Wolf tribe Narga far from the south, I know the movie has feeling......but sadly not many understand the heart of the movie (believe me humans are not always bright ethier).

:-) Karen E. Johnson replies: "Thanks for the comments...all 4 of them."

Hi again,
I think this is one of the best Princess Mononoke fanarts I've seen in a long time. Wow...it leaves me breathless. What is with people picking on your artwork. Anonymous has no right to say that. Its just plain mean. Like I said in your Princess Garnet picture...(By the way it was just as wonderful as this.) don't let anyone pull you down because they are just jealous because they can't do it themselves. I hope I have inspired you!!!

:-) Karen E. Johnson replies: "Wow, I've never had someone stick up for me like that. hehe. I can handle the criticism, but it is annoying when I don't get *good* critisism and the person doesn't even give advice. If they don't, it shows that *they* don't have a clue how to draw themselves!!! Thank you! "

How can someone say something like that? If they don't like your pictures, then they shouldn't have responded. I think its a cute pic. If someone puts you down like that, then they're just jealous because 1: they can't draw at all themselves, or 2: they just think they could draw it themselves even though they might not even know what the Princess Mononoke movie even is. Its their problem that they don't like it. Ignore it, cuz you did a great job! 2

I'm a fellow artist, and I must say, I like the picture. You're pretty good! (I'm a fan of Princess Mononoke, that also helps ^_^) But I have two pointers.

1) I would like to see you use more shading.

2) Ashitaka does not look very pleased in this picture... You draw excellent proportion, but you *might* need to work on facial expressions.

Again, you're an great artist, and I hope to see a lot more from you.
