LANCELOT AND GUENEVIERE

I Liken us
To Lancelot an Gueneviere
A young queen, left alone and unloved
Keeping company with
The young knight.

I sense the love and desire
as your eyes
fall upon me,
feeling like
A warm soft rain.

When the king is away,
You come to me...
And show me the way
True love feels.

You rescue me from
Loneliness, abandonment
Camelot--Arthur's domain,
the prison he's made for me...

As we'll ride off...Into the dawn
Of our new life...
Together forever.

27 Oct 1999	Holly Marie Hamling	Loading... I've always loved the legends of camelot, and it's nice for once to see Guinevere not getting a bum rap... I suggest you check out "The Mists of Avalon" you really get to get into the head of the lead characters in this classic love triangle.
