Please keep updating more, i'd love to see more. Karen May replies: "Thank you Lindzy. I will be adding more very soon. I took a look at your work - beautiful use of colour and your anatomy has really progressed. You've obviously been working very hard and it's paying off. Keep it up!" | |
| 16 Sep 2005 | Valarie ´FaerieLight´ Connell | Loading...You have an absolutely beautiful gallery. I love your unique technique and use of color to fill the whole page. You backgrounds are very detailed and just as important to the picture as the main subject. I have to ask what kind of medium and paper / canvas do you use for your art? Is this acrylic paint? I would be honored if you stopped by my gallery and let me know what you think. Great gallery, keep up the beautiful work!! Karen May replies: "Hi Valarie. I'm delighted that you like what i do so much. I use acrylic on 140lb watercolour paper. I've left a message on your gallery page. Thanks." | |
| 16 Sep 2005 | @_@ oro | Loading...You have very much your own style, and it's such a nice one too! representing just what you've mentioned; innocence, peace and beauty. Have you ever looked up Anne Geddes? She's a photographer who works mainly with babies and i think some of her work would be great inspiration for you - just an idea. ^_^ Karen May replies: "I only became aware of Anne Geddes about a year ago (I don't get out much) Although I love what she does I try extremely hard not to be influenced by anyone. It is extremely important to me that my work comes purely from within. I'm very happy that you like it. Thank you." | |

| 9 Oct 2005 | Leonie | Loading...Hey Karen, I've seen your gallery and it's really great to see there's someone who thinks (almost) exactly the same as I do! I often get very depressed when I think of our world being messed up, and people who hurt other people and wars and stuff, but then I remember there are also beautiful things in the world, funny and sweet things. (Uhm, I'm getting a bit too sentimental I think :§) Anyway, your pictures make me smile! Karen May replies: "Hi Leonie, you're not getting too sentimental. Perhaps if people were a bit more positive, they wouldn't create so many things to be negative about. If my pictures make you smile, then I smile. Very many thanks." | |
| 1 Mar 2006 | Anne Wipf | Loading...I am just discovering your gallery and I'm stupefied (see mine and you'll know why). I wanted to ask you about your technics, but you answer yet to Valarie. I love all of your gallery and I cannot choose the picture I prefer. You made a very nice and hard work (I know : I realized such kind of pictures and I stopped that work for the moment : it takes too much time to do !). Hope to see much more of your pictures, love them. | |
