It really works. In fact, you can leave a comment on my shelf when you get more of Emergence up. Kelli Armstrong replies: "Thanks! I have been adding comments, about one or two a day! The bits of the manuscript I've got up here are not my fav. I am thinking of cutting or compressing them from the story all together. But I have the next couple, more attention grabbing bits queued it will be a while, but they'll be up soon." | |
| 6 Mar 2007 | Andrea Tiefling | Loading...very interesting start. not sure about some of the more descriptive areas but i like your handle on imagery, especially descriptions of the mother. followed your link from the Wyverns list (don't be too surprised if not too many others do...the list is for philosophical discussion, not writing critique.) update soon! Kelli Armstrong replies: "I have a few more chapters on the queue hopefully they'll be up soon. The reason the description is a little awkward is because at first this was all in first person. I wrote this as a character bio for a renaissance faire group. It later became something much more. Only problem is I haven't been able to get it right...Its frustrating because I like the way the story is written towards the end, and I think theres little I can do short of scraping the first half and rewriting the entire thing! Or at least thats what I am thinking Im going to do to fix it.Thanks for reading!! Check back soon for the new additions!" | |

| 3 Apr 2007 | Lindsay Verde | Loading...Hi Kelli! followed some links and found my way onto your lurvely page. Just thought I'd wish you a good day! I have a group called Inkwell Artisans, which hands out writing challenges. If you're interested in this current project, which is currently involving the topic of gypsies, I'd be more than happy to e-mail the details to you. It's not due until december of 2007, so you'd have lots of time.

| 5 May 2007 | Dan Shevock | Loading...Hi, nice writting, I started reading your story out of order, cause I was following the "new stories" section. Malek's flight is very well written. I'll have to come back sometime to read what the 7 stories that lead up to it are though. Kelli Armstrong replies: "I'm glad you like it! Do check back, I'd love to hear what you think of the rest. Because I know it needs work." | |
