The Strige Seraphin, one of my avian vampire characters on the hunt for another of his kind, a vicious and sadistic Shadow Lord that once terrorized and murdered his coven in a seemingly unprovoked act of vampiric sadism, seeks his vengenge.
Sensing his foe's presence, Seraphin activates the Soul Fire; the most formidable and versatile talon-weilded weapon ever created by his species, biologically powered and mentally operated, the hiltless energy blade has the ability to cut through just about anything, incinerate, fire projectiles, and the ability to drain the life out of it's victims. Forged in the fire's of his own soul, his blade will strike the blow for justice.

Very cool and original...there’s a neat sense of depth to it that really draws your eyes into the picture. I particularily like your job with the raven’s feathers and head. Nicely done!

:-) Kimberly A Taylor replies: "hey thanks! much of the feathers were created mostly using the smudge tool. i think the look of depth was because i did the character and the background separatly."

Bloody awesome. Love the detail, colours. Cool blade too. Can it be used for staking?

:-) Kimberly A Taylor replies: "thank you, yep, it can be used for staking, and worse. it’s a nasty weapon to be on the wrong end of certainly."

Wow! You managed a powerful pose and great job with the feathers; just look at the tail. 11 (Tag as favorite)

If it weren’t for those vicious talons, the deadly energy sword, and his murderous glare, I’d be tempted to pet him... 22

Oops... I shouldn’t have called him Shorty; he looks mortally offended now. 16

:-) Kimberly A Taylor replies: "hehe, Seraphin’s one of my ’good’ corvidian characters, so he might just forgive you for that. glad you like the tail; i personally thought that i’d made a mess of that, many thanks."
