The giant totem statues stand in eternal vigil over the Evermore pillars...an ancient collossal edifice soaring kilometres into the sky . A place where only the chosen go to live forever...or a place to converse with the dead.

the Evermores were built as a means to store the living souls of the greatest and most powerful Aitrea Saolans after death so that their knowledge and essence is preserved forever.

E A Poe's 'quoth the raven ...nevermore', was in part  the inspiration for the title.

Amazing! Great story too, I had a feeling it was inspired by Poe’s raven 2 Definately deserved a mod’s pick!

:-) Kimberly A Taylor replies: "hehe thanks- yeah it did make me think of that-i almost used to be able to memorise the entire poem at one point-seem to have forgotten parts of it now-it’s quite long after all. i think it was also in part inspired by the Vulcan katric arcs in star trek but on a vaster scale."

By the title, I was hoping it would be space-related. 12 Great job getting a Mod’s Choice too. I like the colors.

:-) Kimberly A Taylor replies: "thanks-well it is slightly-i did throw in the steathship model, originally it was going to be in a cave, but i felt in the end to have it in the open air with the stars above. on the subject of space pics though, i am in the process of constructing another spaceship model-can’t say when it’ll be finished yet, but its not far off-and this one certainly has been a challenge. "

Amazing. This is such an inspiring picture, made after an inspiring poem. I think my favorite things from this are the colors you used and the raven statues in the foreground. 2
