I was intrigued by how many plants resemble dragons, so I wanted to create those dragons and have them camouflaged in their respective flowers.  This is the first of four "flower dragons", drawn with colored pencils on sandpaper. (Check out the cat dragons-Drats!- too.

The sandpaper sure soaks up the pigment. Very nice! I love the different variations of irises on this one.
