SciFi and Fantasy Art Flurry (Plush unicorn) by Kathleen Hardy

These little plush unicorns are my newest thing. If you've been to any of the fantasy/sci-fi conventions I've done in the past 9 months, chances are you've seen some of these little guys. This one is currently for sale over at etsy (kathardyfantasy.etsy.com), hopefully he won't stay there for long. These ponies were born out of a request from my son for a zebra to add to his collection of stuffed animals. I made a pattern, and the finished zebra turned out so cute that I made a few modifications, and- voila!- a unicorn plushie was born. This particular unicorn has a blue fur coat with a white snowflake pattern (hard to see in this pic), and a blue felt under-belly, these really cool blue-ice crystal button eyes. I've made so many of these critters, I've lost count! (This is the only one currently that hasn't sold at a con yet!) I keep making more, and they keep selling out from under me. I'll try to get more pictures up as I make new ones.
