Tag As FavoriteComment		This is the first stage of a new oil painting that I am currently working on. I learned this technique from Chris Seaman a few years ago, and I've used it ever since (see Gatekeeper, Koi Pond, Anahista, Inuit Sled, Centaur's Waterfall), I think it helps my work be much richer, and the details much better.

Can’t believe there are no comments on this. It is great just as it is. Indeed it is rich and beautifully detailed. A wonderful technique.

So you just paint over top of the pencil?
Very nice job on the folds and the archway.
