Tag As FavoriteComment		A radical departure from my normal work, (it's been a long time coming). Inspired in part by Stephanie Pui Mun Law's great knotwork, part by a year's worth of really trying to push myself artistically, I think it worked out well, and I hope it will be a successful new direction for me. Colored pencil and gouache on grey paper. This is one of the rare peices where I probably do more preliminary sketchwork than actual finished drawing.

It's just the guy's face that's slightly off. something with the texture of the cheek or the placement of the facial features.

Other than that it's fabulous.

Methinks its quite lovely. The warped affect is done well, and the colors are beautiful. The only thing i think detracts from the picture is the messed up human anatomy... They are so close to looking real.. And then it just misses

My only issue with this piece is it's not bigger... The details that must have been lost make me want to cry... I'd love a link to a larger version of this piece if at all possible... Amazing work such as this should be shown off!
