This is a design that I use for my renaissance garb quite a bit. I go by Fhaol, which is Gaelic for wolf, so it's only logical that this knotwork wolf should appear on my things.

Great work! it looks really knitted (can you say that? as in knotted?), and very Celtic. I love the look of it, and the knot is simply masterly done.

I have gotten a small question thou; I'm working on a picture right now, one with a wolf and a Celtic knot work frame. This picture would fit perfectly into the frame, do you mind if I use it? If you do, please let me know, and Ill send you a picture of it when I'm finished =)

Do you know that Fhaol in Gaelic is prounced like Fool? The other way to say wolf in Gaelic is Mac-Tire. The "i" has a slash over it and it means Son of the Land which is a wolf.

Hi. This picture is very similar to the logo for our pipe band. Mac-Tire of Skye Pipes and Drums. there are differences and the wolf is holding a bagpipe. The Pipe Major and I designed it and drew it out together, then we took it to a tattoo artist to touch it up and make it look great. We got the idea from the bona na corin wolf in the book of Kells and modernized it. Very very similar.

What is your Point? Are you accusing her of copying? wouldn’t that be silly of you (and somewhat arrogant as well) since they are both drawn from the same image and you cant claim an image from an anchient illuminated book as your own. take your poorly veiled insults else where.
