	Briar Rose also known as Sleeping Beauty, fell into a deep sleep after pricking her finger on a spindel of a spinning wheel a curse only a prince can break with a kiss.

It had a girl sleeping and she was being stolen away from somewhere by goblins, ah I loved that picture! This one is truely amazing! 31 Aug 2007	Anonymous	Loading... Beautiful! I've always pictured Aurora as a brunette, or a redhead, like this pic! I also like how you did that drop of blood running down her finger, from when she pricked it. You hardly EVER see any pictures of her with a bloody finger.

Rather then have her miracously end up on a beautiful draped bed with her hands folded, she simply fell backwards in a deep sleep. It adds a realistic touch, almost as if I were viewing a real scene. I honestly adore this picture!
2 Nov 2011	Rosie Biddie	Loading... Bright and vivid. I like how you drew her so real. As in, she has color and skin, and she’s not perfectly skinny but kind of round and soft. =] She also looks like she’s having the best sleep of her life. And I think I’m gonna have to start looking into this Prismacolor brand. Everyone uses it, it seems, and it looks like it gives real nice results. But it’s expensive. XD however, I might check it out. By the way her hair is absolutely stunning. The whole thing is. Kudos for showing a different side of the face most artist’s never go! (up the nose. It’s a beautiful perspective here, though.) ^_^ Katerina Koukiotis replies: "thank you rosie so much for your lovely comments, you should definitely try prismacolors they are very good color pencils they are a bit pricey but you can also buy them individually for a dollar something each to try a few colors to see if you like them or not "
