So when I finally clicked on this thumbnail, it kind of brought back some memories and I actually laughed out loud at myself for not recognizing the song lyrics in the title. Overall the eyes are the things that captivate me the most about this picture. Funny fact. When I showed this to my mother, she said the drawing’s nose looked like mine. xD One question, then I’ll go on to something else. Have you heard of the Irish singer Loreena Mckennit? Katerina Koukiotis replies: "hi rosie yes i have i know of the singer you mentioned, a lot of fellow fantasy artists really like her music i have heard some of her singing on youtube thank you so much for all your lovely comments, i love Blackmore’s night amazing band and songs and they have done some classic remakes so well when i did this drawing back in 2007 i believe it was for a online dark fantasy show and being that i love portrait work i decided on a face but wanted a haunting but beautiful look it was based on fellow model and friend sharon from deviantart.com she no longer provides stock but i was so happy to do this at the time and had no idea it would be so well perceived
