  | This is going in my Other Works tab, not because it isn't fantasy, but rather because it's a WIP, not a finished piece. It's my dad's birthday present and so far it's looking alright. It is rather late - his birthday was the 7th May - but oh well. I'm using a technique from Shadow Umbre on deviantArt (shadowumbre.deviantart.com). Each scale is drawn and shaded individually - no custom brushes in sight! Anywawys, I hope to upload the finished piece at some point before Christmas.
