 Wow.... I'm so shocked I'm speechless. I've finished it. 28 hrs and over 2 months of work for... this. This is my dad's birthday present - his birthday was in May and it's now July but... never mind hey? I used a technique from Shadow Umbre over in DeviantART for the scales and the fur on his cape. Each scale is drawn individually - no custom brushes used - and let me tell you, it takes a while! The WIP of this piece is over in my other works gallery.

The story is that this little dragon is very happy with his new cape which he was given for his birthday. Short and sweet huh?

Unfortunately, saving it as PNG removes quite a bit of the contrasrt )= Ah well...
