Katie Verdigris Smoke

I am a fantasy fan and keen reader. I love walking and have climbed all 214 of the wainwright mountains in the Lake District. Now that I'm older I feel that I want to share my drawings with people other than just my friends. This website is a dream come true!

I have also got a writing account on here, although that gets uploaded less frequently. My usual approach to my stories is:

"Wow, that's such a cool idea!" *scribbles*

"OH! But I just got an even better one!" *drops story to start another one*

"But this one's even better!" And so on...

However, my attitude with art is:

"WOW! That's such a cool idea!" *scribbles*

"But this one's is too! Wait, I need to finish this one first..." *works faster*

Yeah, you get the picture....

So I have to write the rest here: It was very hard to colour my pictures with a mouse. As you now already know I got a tablet and it’s a huge difference. Not easy but better. And gimp never worked on my computer... I have a very strange computer who’s often doing what he wants... (Sometimes he don’t like my new tablet and photoshop too -__-) I have always used the program PhotoStudio5 I got with a printer software. A very simple program without any layers or many nice effects of course... That’s why I didn’t use it very often and so I have not so much experience with computer-colouring. (With this dragon-pic I think I coloured only 4 pictures with my old equipment!) Glad you like this picture. I hope this is the last one with such a bad quality. Er... I hope I haven’t written gibberish... And thanks again! My favorite was Tom Baker in the old series, but we like the new one too.Are you troubled much by Daleks now? We hardly ever see them in Arizona.
