Speaking of which, another great looking dragon *scowls with jealousy* and she's cool looking too - I love the shape of her head and all those ridges. Katja Alakotila replies: "*BLUSH* Thank you!!! It means a lot that you say so. I like this one myself fairly much. And actually those reflections.. *giggles* ...I was snickering by myself while drawing them. They sort of seemed so funny... : )"

Reminds me of those Julie Bell's chrome works.. ..nice details, nice posture, nice reflections.. ..great, I say! Keep these coming, my dear friend! Katja Alakotila replies: "I didn't tell you!? Darn it... I could have sworn that I sent an e-mail... *anteeksipyytävä koiranpentukatse* SO glad that you like it. *all smiles*"
| 2 Oct 2002 | Rachel Tipaldi | Loading...Very good job. You have such creative dragons! And I like her tush! LOL. You did do good on the metalness. ;-) Katja Alakotila replies: "*LOL* I actually took a good time 'designing' her butt. *GRIN* So I'm really glad you like it. ; D" | |
| 15 Oct 2002 | Oleg SnowQueen Oxenoid | Loading...WOW... *catches his falling jaw* That's Super-Mega-Ultra-Great, Katja!!! Tell me, have you used something as a model of metallic light reflection, or you just 'know' how to draw it in any shape? First, "Guardian Angel", then this... I just don't know what to say! Wonderful! Katja Alakotila replies: "*blushes* Thank you, sugar. Nope, no model. Just my imagination. And my eraser. *grin* This was done in the just-do-it -technique. ; D" | |
| 8 Nov 2002 | Janne Vuollet | Loading...Nice. You know, there is a tutorial about "how to get metallic look" or somehting like that here at elfwood. I thought maybe you would be interested. I have the persons name somewhere... just a sec. Keith Trimm, yes that was his name. Anyways, nice pic. Katja Alakotila replies: "Oh, nice to know. Have to check it out... : ) And thanks for the comment." | |

Katja Alakotila replies: "*BLUSH* Thank you. I've been trying to work on the chrome-look. And this piece was really fun to do. It made me feel... well... *blushes some more* ...sexy... *grin* But thank you, thank you very much! I was a bit worried about the yellow, but gladly at least someone thinks it works. : )"

| 27 May 2004 | Ajder Andrei | Loading...Yea... hey... you did got that metalic "feal" to it... really nice... but... amn... joust one question... what is the green stuff on the dragon's forhead??? Anyways... all in all... It's a wanderfull pic... congrats on it!!! P.S. Is she an orc??? Katja Alakotila replies: "Thank ya! The green stuff on the dragon are scales. Either they're the remains of his old scale skin after a metamorphosis of some sort, or then the dragon's a hybrid of a metallic and a green-scaled drgon. You pic. : ) Well, orc wasn't really on my mind when I drew the chic... I have no idea of what she is... A Martian? : D" | |
