You've done it very well, especially... errr... everything! Me thinks it's great! *a blushing grin* Thank you, Snowie. That's really kind of you. But a doodle it is so the title remains. *s* But I'm ever so happy that you like it. | |
| 8 Nov 2001 | Daena M. Ortego | Loading...I think your dragon and mine would be great friends! Lovely work! The movement and fluidity of the lines really make it seem like he's banking in flight, ready to land -- or to attack... *introduces her draggie to Daenas dragon* Xanthi, meet.... Eh... umm... Sorry, didn't catch your name...? | |
| 21 Dec 2001 | Areana | Loading...I draw dragons often myself, and am a great admirer of the beasts (boy did I spell that wrong) and I think this picture is absolutely gorgeous. I wish my dragons would turn out as good as yours. Katja Alakotila replies: "Thanks a million for your kind comment. I really appreciate it, even more so because dragons are something... hmm... kind of sacred in my mind. I fear to draw them since they most likely wouldn't turn out as magical and majestic as they deserve to be. You draw, too? Do you have a gallery here in the Elfwood? You really should put up a gallery of your own... I for one would like to see your pieces... : )" | |
| 12 Apr 2002 | Paula 'Paw' Martiskainen | Loading...Yay, the blue ones are always the best! And it is a fair enough dragon for me, certainly. It's got the kind of dynamics I think all dragons have. I keep raving at people about how wings are constructed though, but nevermind me, since I can't say I'm a perfectionist in this field... And in the end, if the artist is pleased then there's nothing more to be done, don't you think? Katja Alakotila replies: "I'm SO glad that you like it. Thanks. Wing construction? Hmm... I viewed your work and noted the wings... But still I'd be interested in hearing your raving about the subject. *grin* And Pawie... is the artist ever pleased with the outcome? If so, those artists are truelly lucky... I'm hardly ever pleased. Some dabblings might be okay-ish, though, but pleased... *sigh*" | |
| 11 Jul 2002 | Robert J. Mackellar | Loading...even despite being drawn in blue he or she looks to have a very fiery thing about him or her. Cant pt my finger on what it is though. Katja Alakotila replies: "Possibly the pose that indicates that he/she (haven't quite figured it out yet...) is about to burst out a fiery breath... *grin*" | |
| 23 Sep 2002 | Chrystal | Loading...I love that picture! It is very nice! I can only draw one kind of dragon. Once again very nice work! Katja Alakotila replies: " Thank you! That's so nice of you. Actually I have three new dragons (and their rider ladies) coming up... I'm just arranging things to get them scanned... Soon, soon... *s*" | |
