Hey what kinda of materials did you use?? Would really be of great help, thanks in advance!!

:-) Katerina A. Romanova replies: "I usually do my pics digitally in Paint Shop Pro. This one was first a detailed pencil picture (http://www.elfwood.com/~katte/Myth.3515065.html) which I scanned in and used as a base/shortcut for some of the shading and texturing. Most of my pics are painted digitally from scratch, though.

Paint Shop Pro is a decent, Photoshop-like program, but I’d recommend a newer version if you’re thinking of trying it out. I once tried a newer version, didn’t like the clutter of new features (mostly aimed at photographers), but recently I realised that I can’t import any custom artist-made brushes because my PSP is too outdated. Custom brushes really help cut down on the time you spend doing tedious stuff and make drawing more fun, and while it’s possible to make your own, it’s sometimes better to use someone else’s tried-and-true creation.
