His nostrils flared as he sucked greedily the cold winter air... The stars, the moon, the snow pines... he was part of it all.

I so admire the stars and sky and the way use the moon light. This is very good! *Applauds*

already in Christmas mood? I'm always in Christmas mood whole year long.. that's why I like your image so much

3 Katerina A. Romanova replies: "Christmas mood? Well, when I hear 'WINTER!' I do not neccesarily thin 'Christmas! Whee!'. Nor do my works always match the current season. But you're right, he does have a slight Christmas look about him... "

very pretty. I like how your did this with the white and colors on a black background, I think it really gives a colde winters night feel to it and is very beautiful, and it also makes it much more unique. ^_^

:-) Katerina A. Romanova replies: "Thanks. What, you haven't seen much pencil-on-black-paper pictures? Obviously you haven't been on Elfwood for very long."

I seen a friend of mine use colored penciles on black construction paper before. The way you used the white to project the light is amazing. It really looks like light.
For a second there I thought it really was the light from your picture shining in my eyes, but then I figured out that it was the glare of the sun through my window. Lol.
