This, is a female Grunt. Grunts, Which are named after their less than pleasant calls, are odd creatures that wander the humid mucky forests near marshlands, feasting on rancid mold and the occasional bullfrog. The spike on the back of it oozes a horrible green poison, which turns flesh rotten if jabbed. It's the Grunt's main form of defence, though they also get by with their sharp claws and hard tusks. They travel in packs, with an Alpha male called a Rayzerback. There is only one adult male allowed in each Rancid (the word for a pack of Grunts) and once the little Gruntlettes mature in about six months time, they wander off to find another Rancid to call home. The Rayzerback is responsible for mating with each of the female Grunts in his Rancid, and providing protection. These flat nosed, drooling, disgusting animals aren't the most charming of marshland creatures, and tend to get quite malicious at times.
The Grunt is a creature from my own imagination, It was hand sculpted from Polymer clay without the use of molds, and painted in acrylics.
