Offutt replies: "Yeah, I was wondering about whether my gallery should be zone 47 or not. But I based all of it on my D&D 3rd edition game or previous editions of Dungeons and Dragons. I have a lot of alternative stuff I use in my world as a campaign setting and it is played as fantasy and not sci-fi...that's why I went with Lothlorien."

I think your thighs tend to be a bit thin. But anyhow, your work is great! Michael A. Offutt replies: "I can see what you mean now that you point that out. I'm working on some new pictures (I'm extremely slow at finishing them). I'll examine my proportions a little more. "

Keep it up! Michael A. Offutt replies: "I appreciate the compliment. There are so many fine artists on Elfwood that I felt a little intimidated by putting my work up. "

Offutt replies: "Thanks for complimenting my coloring. I'm actually pretty severely color-blind. When I color with pencils, ink, or paint I have to read the labels. I've had enough experience to know what mixes with what to provide particular shades. But every once in a while I catch myself using a dark blue when I intend to use black and a friend points out that I've used the wrong color. That and I get red and greens messed up as well."

I love your style, it's very realistic and the shading is spectacular, as well as the proportion (wow!). The orginality of the characters is great, too, and I enjoyed pretty much everything here.
My only stipulation is that in some drawings, there is great proportion at the top of the figure, but from the waist down it seems thinner and it doesn't look quite right. I don't know what to say to fix this, however, because I'd probably do the same thing.
Other than that, I adore your work, it's simply amazing, and I hope that you don't see this as a harsh critique. I've had people do that to me, and I didn't like it. So that's my input for today. Lol. Keep up the stellar work!
