| 15 Jan 2007 | Tracy Squires | I ran through your gallery and I just wanted to leave another general comment. I know manga/anime can be really appealing especially when learning how to draw. but I really highly recomend you don't limit yourself to just that. Life drawing is the best way to learn how to draw people, especaily if you want to do manga. Once you understand how the real body works, it's alot easier to convert it into other styles. Learning to draw people while doing manga is hard because they are so stylised. you'll certainy never learn to draw a propper face. Most importantly keep drawing! You've got wonderful imagination to build on. cheers | |
| 15 Jan 2007 | Tracy Squires | red blue and black make wonderful images so surely don't appologise for them. One image with thoes colors that I find inspiring is from "Memoirs of a Geisha" a movie that is told with color. http://www.helloziyi.us/Galleries/memoirs-hq1.htm This is a link to the image, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I'm going to wander through your gallery and give you some of the advice I wish I got when I was your age trying to figure out how character art works. Cheers | |
