The Pheonix

From the ashes reborn, a Pheonix will rise,
the truth it tells, no half-baked lies,
Flaming wings and mystic song,
golden beak and red feathers long.
The truest of calls it can only hear,
listen for the wings so near.
Wild and untamed it stays,
on Willow branch black talon lays,
in epic battles they come to heal,
invisible to blades that reel,
pearl drop tears of tears of healing goo,
enemies its wrath wont rue.
Long forgotten in Time and Space,
a Pheonix song of delicate lace.
Like poison through the air it flows,
Do Pheonix live? No one knows.

Very nice, my only complaint is the word "goo" just stands out like a sore thumb- it's not graceful and pleasant like the rest of the words in the poem. I know it's hard when you're trying to stick to a strict rhyming scheme to find a good word but you might consider putting something else at the end to rhyme with if that word is troublesome for you.
