Sweet! How in the world did you do that fur?

1 Kayleen ´Katarina´ Connell replies: "Very carefully! It involved me sitting there with my tablet, making tiny lines with a one pixel wide brush. It took a fair amount of time. I've had plenty of practice by now, but man! Does it ever tire the wrist!"

Oh, I LIKE this! My favorite so far. What do I like about it? Well, she's got attitude. Like she's nobody's door mat, very self confident type of attitude. She's also stylish.. kinda grunge (if that's the right word) and I LOVE those glasses. I also like how she's a bit more slight in frame- many of your figures tend to be a little more "stocky" so this is just different. It's wonderful and well done!

:-) Kayleen ´Katarina´ Connell replies: "I think part of why my figures tend to be a little on the meatier side is that I tend to draw everyone with my own body type - short and slightly stocky. It's a real challenge for me to break out of that and draw different body types!"

You are very good at drawing bodies in interesting poses. This is yet another example of your prowess. However, when you colour them on the computer you sometimes let yourself down a bit. it’s easily remedied, just try not to use dodge and burn too much. It makes it look... rough. However, having said that, I love the textures you’ve created on her fur and the eyes are beautiful ^-^ Well done.
