| I did this piece for The Enchanted Visions Project. The theme was "What Dreams May Come". Here's a little story about her because the gods here do not think she is a fairytale enough to be displayed in my gallery. Once upon a time there lived a spoiled little princess who loved only beautiful things. One day she was on a walk in the forest and came upon the most beautiful field of poppies... She was very very tired from her walk so she stopped for a rest there, admiring the beautiful poppies. She decided to pluck some to take home with her. So she picked a handful of the flowers. Suddenly a troop of mischevious fairies happened upon her. "you who dares to pluck our poppies we keeps!" they cried. And they cast an enchantment on her to make her sleep there forever...and there she lay in slumber forever. You can assume she will be awakened one day by some beautiful Prince if it makes you feel better but the bitter truth is you reap what you sow. Dangers lurk among the most beautiful things. *I never claimed to be a writer =) |
