This is such an amazing picture!!!!!!!!!!! Everything looks so awesome. And I just love all of the detail and the shading. That dragon just looks so real.

I find its not the overall picture that impresses me but the little details here and there. Like the muscle definition in your characters and things like how each individual scale is shaded on the dragon. The perspective is interesting... Also a lot of pictures, colour makes things pop and really add contrast but I cant imagine this picture haveing any colour it just wouldn’t be right. Pencil drawings are hard to capture contrast and still make it flow but you did a really good job..I imagine it took quite some time to complete too. I’m a pencil fan myself I don’t really like computer generated stuff so maybe my opinion’s biased because its so hard to find decent pencil drawings anymore but anyway... I really like it.

Kevin G Bibby replies: "Thanks for the comment Amanda... yes I see what you mean very insightful...the overall shape and structure of the pict doesn’t grab me either I think it maybe the size on the computer, the original is much bigger and lends well to the type of composition I was attempting.....bringing the viewer in to the conflict. Many thanks on the observation of contrast and flow it takes quite a bit of effort with pencil..... and yes it took a bit of time, but relaxing time as this one was for myself. I’m also a pencil fan it will always be my favorite medium to work with and to look at,,,,but I’m trying to get this computer stuff down.... anyways thank you very much again, great comment. "

Woah, so cool. I love the dragon and how you really captured the moment of fire breath. Awesome. I am assuming the arrow is magical, but I think it’ll get consumed in the flames of the dragon. In other words, the guy is about to die.

This is an awesome work of art and your Dragon is excellent. I love Dragons. I even collect them but try as I may I can’t draw them worth a s**t.
