| 17 Mar 2004 | Meg Henderson aka 'Naeva' | Loading...Yay! I agree with Cyn- the shading on the horns is exceptional. I can see you put more effort into the bone structure of the skull- try increasing the contrast (darker darks, lighter lights) to bring that out more. Excellent work! Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks, I'll see what I can do. ^..^" | |
| 18 Mar 2004 | C. Thompson | Loading...P.S. I really like his eye. The best thing that I like about it is that you caught the creatures "look" in it. I can see it thinking "Okay...I'm not sure what this thing looking at me is, but I'm going to watch it in case it is dangerous." You did not just draw the eye, you filled in the thoughts that can be seen through eyes. Excellent job there. Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thank you. ^..^ I've always thought I did nice eyes; glad to see someone else agrees with me!" | |
| 18 Mar 2004 | C. Thompson | Loading...Cynthia and Meg have already said what I could think to comment on. The horns have the most definition by far. The skull is next and then the neck and body. If you can define the body and head in future works as well as you have defined the horns here, you will make some excellent images. Good work. Keep it up. | |

| 28 Jun 2004 | Minka | Loading...I like the fluffy-looking belly and neck fur. Do these things do well with herding? And can I ride one? Kerry S. Boyd replies: "I suppose once domesticated they might be herd-able, but the herding dogs would have to be very large. Regular dogs aren't big enough to scare them toward the right direction. Riders on tamed irex would be best for that; guide-oriented rather than threat-oriented herding. They can be stubborn, but are very loyal once tamed and are about the best thing to ride in rocky areas. " | |
