| 21 Oct 2003 | Cynthia Lane Armstrong | Loading...Yeah, and this says nothing about you personally, right? *wink* It would make a very nice painting, methinks. Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Me? Whatever would make you think that? -..^" | |
| 22 Oct 2003 | Abrynek | Loading...Excellent job! This is by far one of my favorite pictures of yours. There is a lot more detail in this one with the tiny attention to shading giving everything it's own distinct appearance, it's mane (I don't know if it's hair or thousands of little spikes) having every individual piece apparent, and the tiny bumps on the sheep (it is a sheep, right?) giving the appearance of fuzz. It's an incredible work. My personal preference would be to see the dragon's head coming further out of the sheep and looking at the viewer with both eyes, but that's just me being picky. It is a wonderful work! Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks... it did take me awhile, and yes, it is a sheep. It's supposed to be a lamb, but I didn't have a reference, so I'm not sure the proportions are right for it to be a baby sheep." | |
| 24 Nov 2003 | Jess | Loading...The only part that really looks like its coming out of the lamb is the hand. The rest of the dragon just looks as if its ...Well not flat bu just contained do you know what i mean? I'm sorry i don't really know how to make what i mean clearer. Maybe it would improve the 3-d ness if some of the lower jaw poked ou too? Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Yes, the dragon is supposed to be contained within the lamb; the claws coming out added more meaning to the idea. I see what you mean, though. If I redo this one I may do that. " | |
| 27 Jul 2004 | Barbara Cythtor Dreamchaser Foster | Loading...*Chuckle* Ah, yes... for those of us who aren't exactly the same "inside" as we are on the "outside," right? ;-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Precisely. ^..^" | |
| 26 Jan 2005 | Nienna | Loading...This is one of the most creative things i've ever seen! Wonderful job Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thank you! It was originally a poem illustration, but it's a good piece of work in its own right. ^..^" | |
| 26 Jan 2005 | Black Claw | Loading...Reminds me of the "Warrior Within." Kerry S. Boyd replies: "The video game? I gues in a way it would, though the prince in the game looks just as dangerous on the outside. " | |
| 27 Jan 2005 | Dragonsoul | Loading...This is the BEST Dragon's artwork i've ever seen!! As you can tell from my nickname, i loved the "Outer Innocence, Inner Flame" concept! But I especially loved the Dragon. It has beautiful eyes.. I hope you don't mind me copying your Dragon art works to my PC. It's just for personal use(wallpapers)! Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks! No, I don't mind, as long as it's personal use only. No going around saying you drew it and stuff. " | |
| 27 Jan 2005 | Kit | Loading...Really unique, nice shading, a lot of attention to detail. The claws coming out was a nice touch, very powerful meaning behind the drawing which is evident and strong... In other words, its spiffy and fab! Keep up the good work, too bad for the poem, this is truely a peice of art that stands alone: Speaks for itself. Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thank you! ^..^ *wiggles happily*" | |
