A rare peek at the elusive sea wyvern. They 'fly' through the sea rather like manta rays do. The little things near his head are pilot fish. Pencil and pen on 2x3 inch card stock.

You ought to tell people the real dimensions of this piece - I think they'd be impressed.

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Oh? All righty. ^..^"

You do really well on under-water creatures. This looks very believable. Great job on the details, and the pilot fish are a nice touch. Good looking picture.

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks! I'm glad you like them, because I haven't had an occasion to draw an underwater beast in a long time. I'm glad I've not gotten rusty. ^..^"

Very nice, this looks surpisingly like i thought they would look like. I didint tink a hole lot of people knew the diffrence between a wyvern and a dragon. lol i was wrong. LOOOOVE IT. keep it up

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thank you! Those who know their dragonlore know the difference. ^..^ "

LOVE his tail! He actually looks like he's in water, which I can never quite accomplish. Great job!

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thank you. ^..^ Underwater beasts are definitely difficult, to be sure... practice will help more than anything, I think. "

P.S. I love all your work even if I don't comment on it

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Yay! I appreciate that. ^..^"

First off, she was right, I am inpressed with the scale of the pic. Also I am quite impressed with the sense of swiftness and speed you present in this pic.

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks! Somehow little ones are easier for me than larger pieces... but I'm getting better with bigger ones. hehe"

:-) Kerry S. Boyd replies: "That it is. ^..^"
