He just needs black socks. I realize that winged creatures would, in scientific theory, have larger chest muscles, but it looks like the forelegs, rather than the wings, are stuck on like candles. This could probably be reduced by having the forelegs doing something other than sticking straight down.  Kerry S. Boyd replies: "They're actually angled a bit back at the knee and the hoof is curled under slightly... I didn't want them to be sticking straight out and down, but I don't guess I did the shadows deep enough for the bends to be seen properly. I'll do my best to fix that and update this pic soon." | |

I think that if you went back and zoomed in a lot and worked on smoothing out all of the little pixelated areas that you could make this an outstanding piece with just a little more work.
