You ought to re-draw this one on better paper and spend some more time on it and then attempt to color it if you so decide. It's definitely a wonderful piece and worth the extra effort to see just how good you can make it. Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Yeah, this is a piece where shading is very important and I'm glad I got it right. ^..^ When I get a chance, I'll do it again on some good paper. Hopefully it will come out reasonably close; when I copy my own work, it tends to go tragically wrong. -..^"

I kinda wish his/her/its muzzle were narrower, but that's just me. I'll probably be using this one as a reference for how to do wings, if you don't mind. I certainly won't copy exactly or trace! Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Wow. I'm gonna be a reference! *happy dance* It is a she, by the way. "
| 24 Nov 2003 | Jess | Loading...She's a very pretty one indeed. Did you mean for her to have scales on he very tips of her wings? Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Not really... hmmm... if you mean the dark parts, that's just shading. " | |

| 26 Jan 2005 | Anon. | Loading...Isn't it wierd that whenever you do a good drawing it's on a paper bag of the back of a menu at a restaurant? one of my best drawings is on a paper towel! very good, by the way. Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Thanks. Yeah, I've done some good work on random stuff. LOL ^..^" | |

But for a picture sketched on a white paper bag, this is just fabulous Kerry S. Boyd replies: "Yes, unfortunately the texture of the bag didn't lend itself to small detailing well... and I didn't have the time either. ^..^;; I did the best I could at the time, and I'm glad you like it.
