SciFi and Fantasy Art Caricature of Phil Gallagher by John D P Keane

In Issue 10 we had an interview with one of the creators of “Warhammer”, Phil Gallagher. He agreed to us doing a caricature of him and the task fell to me. This is the first serious caricature I have attempted and I am really pleased with the way it turned out. It may not strictly fall into the category of ‘Caricature’ as, apart from the body, the only feature that was particularly exaggerated is the hair. What do you think? 0.5mm mech pencil (Again!) 31 Mar 2000	John D P Keane	Loading... I didn't learn my pencil technique from any book, it's been a matter of trial and error, and believe me there is always alot of error! As for books, I particularly like the work of Boris Vallejo and hope that one day I will be able to produce work to even a tenth of his standard of realism.
