This is the first painting I have done in years and certainly the most complete painting I've ever done. It took me ages, partly because the acrylic paint kept on drying out as I was using it. I know better to use one of the 'Stay Wet' systems they have for acrylics next time. I must say that I'm happy overall with the picture, a few bits could have been better, but on the whole I'm glad it turned out so well, especially as it was the cover picture for our 'Best Of Warpstone' book.

I like it. I myself work with colored pencils, pastels, and watercolors. I really like what you've done with acrylics... considering someday I would like to try this medium. This is a great picture, I don't think I could ever do anything like that. You certainly have your own style, which I love. This is great, keep up the good work. If you ever have a painting you are unhappy with, just realize flub ups happen to all artists, its just part of perfecting your technique.

Absolutely gorgeous ! For acrylic paint, if you have some problems with its quick drying (I had, in the beginning, it surprised me after oil painting, but now I"m accustomed and like that), you can use a delaying medium, it will help you in a first time before you'll accustomed to the quick drying of acrylic, or always if you prefer an oil painting sensation... Or use oil paintings, why not, but please continue to show us your wonderful paintings.

Use oils! Oils rule all! Plus they give your paintings a luminous quality. Pastels are awesome too! x

ooo a dwarf "slayer" (a unit type in warhammer fantasy)
it just has to be one.
most likely a troll or giant slayer. interesting what you did with his hand tough 2 looks cool

the creatures on the other hand are not warhammer style at all 10 they look cool. but i think the dwarf is the coolest thing in the painting1
