The titles for my art often come from the names of the articles for which the piece is created. This slightly unusual piece illustrates a young innocent maid who has discovered, she believes, her mistress being assaulted, but the eyes of innocence can often be misled.

Is that a picture of Henry VIII I see before me on the wall? Brilliant, sir! I love your detailed pieces, working with a mechanical pencil must be very tedious.

No comments? *Does the traditional first comment dance* This picture is exquisite. Your whole gallery is amazing...the detail is overwhelmingly precise and one-of-a-kind. You capture the facial expressions with a talent I seldom see and the shading makes the whole picture come alive, as if you were there when this all happened, and you captured the moment and the emotions with it. My constant rambling put together in a phrase would be...You have a wonderful talent and I admire your work...Keep it up and thanks for sharing with us! 2

*LOL* Well, I'm assuming from the description she's not in any harm. Deliciously hillarious, and a wonderful job on shading and perspective.

THIS IS GREAT!!!! so detailed! THe maid really seems to glow. And the cracks in the walls are great.. please tell me you had a reference! *swoons because it is so good* PS- you did a great job on the period clothing. What year would you say this is?

Wow, the details make this picture wonderful. I love the cracks in the walls and the bedframe is all carved and nice. The only thing I might ahve left off is the fruit basket falling on the stairs; its a nice detail but it not there might simplify some lines of focus. *shrugs*
But overall this is just great. 1
