The dark red shape of the Khorne Whale moved swiftly under the relatively calm waters of the sea. Albright Oreax, possibly the most famous and skilled harpooner in the Old World, raised the harpoon high above his head. “Keep up the speed, she’s coming up.” Moments later the Leviathan broke through the surface spouting discoloured water from its blow-hole. “Gotcha!” Just as he began to thrust the harpoon downwards he caught the glint in her eye and knew that it was he that had been got. 0.5mm mech pencil on Bristol paper. This is probably one of my favourites. (Warpstone Issue 9)

Awesome detail and good action. This must be your thumbnail, but that thumbnail looks too "zoomed in" and blurry. I think you should zoom out the thumbnail a bit and show more of the pic.

Personally, I think water and the effects thereof are really hard to draw using pencils. However, you once again seem to prevail where the rest of us tend to fail. This is a damn impressive pic. The entire thing is damn perfect. On a lighter note, that is one brave mother, because that creature is a nasty looking son of a bitch.

And with good reason it is one of your favorites. The motive alone is original, and the preformance is excellent. They story you have written is also very catchy.

I like the way you show only one eye of th' Khorne Whale.... ... and the way the boat has a name 12 you never miss a detail, as far as my untrained eye can see.

Wow. My favorite pictures are usually ones with motion, and detail in them. I hope everyone else noticed how detailed the texture of the spiky whale is. Its amazing. And you drew water too. Hot damn, thats impressive.

I don't think he's the BEST whaler, but perhaps the STUPIDEST whaler........and soon a very dead one.
