Hokay, big update is up, though not quite as big as I'd thought (appearently some of my stuff was too racy for Elfwood...I cring at the thought). But, I still have 11 new drawings up, most of them in color! Random me stuff...Been drawing since I could hold pencil, most of it not very good. I started with Dinosaurs as a wee young'un, but eventually started playing D&D and had made the switch to people. My earliest stylistic influence would probably be Jim Holloway, a very prolific illustrator for role-playing products throughout the 80's and 90's. My drawing has gone through a lot of stylistic changes over the years, going from cartooning fad to cartooning fad (even had a Gary Larson period...ugh) until I finally stopped drawing all together (about the time I stopped playing D&D). I usually had some artistic pursuit going, but drawing wasn't one of them. Seems that my drawing has been so linked with RPG's that I can't thing of much to draw when I'm not involved in them. This current resurgance was, as usual, brought out by D&D, which we started playing in January. The actual cause was trying to figure out what Merrilee, half Hobbit, half Kender, actually looked like, which eventually lead to Merrilee's First Portrait, shown below. All but 3 of the below pictures have been done since then. The ones that haven't are quite old indeed, perhaps 10 or more years. For a good comparison between now and the old days, look at the two male halflings I have down there. Oh, and to visit Merrilee's D&D page, click on my private gallery. The actual characters are posted there, so have a look, and there are some sketches that I did that aren't ElfWorthy...

I really like all the drawings...of course I'm naturally prejudiced, but still. I think that they are all great, especially the one of my character... I can't wait for the one in the fur bikini....keep up the great drawing!

I can't seem to reproduce one character, and make them look the same if they are my own creation but you've got it down! Good work!

Hey guys, thanks for the comments!

To Yvonne and Sara...Glad you like the colors, most of them were done in colored pencil on either the sketchbook paper or a print-out. I always feel like a child when using them, so I may try out more of the computer stuff in the future.

To Angela...Well, in honesty, when you posted, most of the reproductions of each character were actually the same drawing, just toyed with a bit on the computer. At that time, the only one that was me redrawing the same characters was "Saving the Day"...Let's see what you think when the new pictures get posted.

Great Gallery!!!! I adore every single one of them but I think my favorite is "Not that Kind of Elf". I can't wait to see more of your work. :0

:-) Sean Keefe replies: "Thanks a lot! I haven't really been drawing much lately, so I don't have much new to add, but I hope to get back to it soon. The biggest criticism I get about "Not That Kind of Elf", and other pictures of Balorin, is that he seems to serious. But I like the picture too..."

Your art is just stunning. You give each picture so much life and attitude. And your coloring is just amazing. Wonderful job, keep it up! You have a ton of talent!

:-) Sean Keefe replies: "Thank you! I really appreciate the comments. You guys are all way to kind!"
