I do however miss the hundreds of ancient castles that sprawled over my homeland. :-( If I may, I’d like to show you some: http://www.castlewales.com/chepstow.html Good to bump into you and chat! Elizabeth S Hanninen replies: "That’s awesome, and I will check out the castles. I’m a native Michigander myself. We have a few wolves in the upper peninsula, an over abundance of deer and coyotes and quite a few black bears roaming about. Crumbling barns and the occasional standing chimney is about the only link to past times you’re bound to find unless you’re into digging for arrowheads. I’m currently living in Georgia so I miss the snow a bit. Georgian has an entirely different feel to it. I love the swamps and the live oaks. The squirrels here are insane too. I wonder if they’re related. "

Here in idaho now, I’m going to have to design a few technical drawings of castles based on the local landscape maybe, for painting up and using as book covers. Can’t wait for the upload here to be fixed. Have some old DnD sketches to stick up. Elizabeth S Hanninen replies: "I look forward to seeing some of your work when the site is back up. I think we all have places that inspire our creativity.
I’ve been fiddling with some pencil drawings lately. Some humorous character moments that I’d like to post. I think everyone here is getting anxious at this point."

Now, onto more writing...BTW, have you downloaded ’Cataclysmia’ from my shop? It’s there for ya... Elizabeth S Hanninen replies: "I did swing by your shop but didn’t download anything yet. I’ve got a stack of books to get through before I commit to another novel right now. "

Writing novels, doing sketches. Not much else. No work... Elizabeth S Hanninen replies: "I’ll kick your butt if you kick mine to get back on track with the writing and the art. I’ve been seriously slacking on the postings. However, I can blame part of that on work, but not all. "
