| 18 Oct 2005 | Katharine Brodaski | Loading...As a dancer myself, I adore the fact that you've drawn a pose that's physically possible! Beautiful composition. Monika Dia'k replies: "Thankyou very much! I think it's important, even in fantasy, to have a degree of realism that makes the piece believable " | |
| 2 Dec 2005 | Dee | Loading...Yes -- i *know* she's dancing but her arms/legs still look a bit too thin for her body. Monika Dia'k replies: "In defense all I can say is that a lot of dancers, after years of constant training are quite thin in the limbs, esp ballet & similar. Second.. she is supposed to look slightly ethereal as a non-human creature, traditionally depicted through longer, thinner limbs?" | |
| 28 Dec 2005 | Erin Nicole Alwardt | Loading...Its lovely, motion can be very difficult to capture, but the whole piece is done very well. she stretches where shes supposed to, curves where she should. hard to do without distorting her! Beautiful ^-^ Monika Dia'k replies: "Thanks a lot! I think a lot of people don't seem to understand when a person bends a part of their body, the "fat" is going to get compressed a little.. even on uber skinny people!!" | |
| 13 Mar 2006 | Erin N. Conley | Loading...I definitely support you on the dancer thing, all the ones I've met have looked like someone seriously stretched their arms and legs...I love the pose, really graceful and beautiful, especially with her hair flowing behind her...It's nice to think of fantasy peoples having ballet, too ) Monika Dia'k replies: "Thankyou so much for the kindly words shared. I don't see why fantasy folk should be deprived of such a graceful dance!! Or at least, their own dances could incorporate some of the moves from "human" dances." | |
| 9 May 2007 | Jingsee | Loading...WOW. The coloring and pose and everything else is simply mind-blowing. I love how she looks caught up in the moment and seems to be enjoying herself. | |

| 11 May 2008 | Dragomir Cristian Madalin | Loading...the image itself is super cool, and very good . If it’s a ballet dance move, then it’s a bad one . Her movements are rigid and bulky, she wants to have the fines that ballet gives but her body has another plan. Basicly your image show a women with the mind of a fine dancer that moves fluently through the delicate and beautiful wave sounds, but her body as hard as it’s trying is more like that of a commoner, or a warrior .Her rigid and forceful moving body gives the aura of one that wants to fight (hence warrior) Well that’s what i see here | |
