This is my best work so far. Unlike most of my other works, it is more color-driven than light and contrast-driven. I created it in Photoshop CS4 from scratch, using a Wacom Intuos tablet. :D

 

There are two figures in here (or is it 1.5 figures?). The picture itself is a visual representation of what's going on in their minds through a telepathic link. The male elf -- the one with his mouth agape in pain -- is Chi-Min. His mind is being violently invaded by the fiery female elf Phoenix, although you can't really see much of her in here. She is digging his mind, looking for the answer to a certain question he refuses to address...

Having looked through your pictures I must join in the chorus of praise. Beautiful and impressive. I find myself drawn, in my own meager writing, to the clash between the mundane and the magical, and there’s something akin to that in your work, I think.

Ouch! You can see the pain in his face, and the colours are just beautiful. I love the contrast between the fire and the background. All I can say is she must want that answer pretty badly!
