SciFi and Fantasy Art Lake of Songs by Min ´Keiiii´ Kwon


	An older work, from April 2001; done in Painter 5.5. Unlike my recent works (which I start on the computer from scratch), I first drew this on paper with a pencil, then colored over the scan. I like the contrast between the orange and dark green. Trees and water are two of my favorite things... I should do something like this again, something with trees and water. ^^

11 Jun 2005	The Critique	Loading... I love this picture but not because of the girl. You trees are quite beautiful and this picture would of been fine even as a landscape. The contrast between the not so realistic girl and the more realistic trees is a little too much for me. A more realistic girl done in less vibrant colours would make it seem more sirene. Show a little more water next time if you like it so much. One of the ways to judge and artist is by the detail of their water. P.S. Do more nature scenes your good at them! I also loved you "child of sacrafice" maybe next time you do something like that show a little more of the girl and show of all she has! Don't be shy to get a little more nude in your japanese style art!

Um. giggles I'm sorry, I just find that person's comments funny. lol. hahahaha two fairies who don't know the meaning of love yet LOL ^^ Excuse me, i love weird comments like that. Where was i? Yes, the water. Or rather, the lack of it. Don't get me wrong, the pic looks cool as it is, just the title about the lake? And the fact that she's a mermaid? I also like the contrast of the colours.
