Loved the insights gleaned from your drawings. You are MUCH to modest of your artistic talent. Might I suggest you create a link to your story section, and from your story section to the art page.

Keith D. Brooks Jr. replies: "You sound like my daughter! lol I try to draw but I do prefer the written word. I always get frustrated when I try to draw landscapes or vistas. As I mentioned earlier, I tried to draw Gasada once ... and utterly failed! I stick mainly to character drawings now. Now my daughter on the other hand ... when she reaches high school I suspect she will be a fine artist (Not that she isn't one now!) Art is her passion and something I encourage greatly. "

Your work is lovely! I'm glad your daughter talked you into starting a gallery. Don't worry about the backgrounds for now; they'll come eventually, or not, but your characters are great on their own. May I second the recommendation to link your writing and drawing galleries? It sounds like a great plan to me.

If your are truly better at the written word then you will put my works of writing to shame. As for back grounds, there are few artists in this world who love drawing backgrounds and I also am not one. *sighs* oh well I must go and read your stories. Well I've gotta run, cops are here j/k *spins off into the distance*

You've got a great site going here. You have a very good standard Illustrative style which I know is a lot of hard work. I'm glad to see there is another one of us out there working on the illustrative novel concept. I've spent way to much time over the past few years working on my illustrative abillities falling way short on my writing abillities. I'm working on those now, taking a writing course. I don't think most people know what a difficut endeavor this is untill you've tried it.
I've just submitted three new pics that were completed over a month ago. There's a few more of us on this site working in the same vein. Some have actually published. Keep in touch colleague
