SciFi and Fantasy Art Bast by Sarah (´Saja´) Kellington


	This is an interpretation of the Goddess Bast, and isn't meant to be historicly accurate. She was a woman with a cat's head, and even if she was a cat it would have been a desert cat. The star-field is Everdawn - roughly the equivelent of the astral plain. The image has to do with my own philosophy.

She looks so happy and serene, as if she's thinking about something that makes her happy. Great interpretation of Bast...and if she wanted to, I'm sure she could be full-cat instead of just cat-headed! Love it!
